Golden Whispers

This is a beautifully rendered portrait piece. It took me a couple minutes of staring at it to realize that it was indeed a render and not a real woman. The details are impeccable, from the glow of lighting on her skin to the hint of a smile in her eyes and lips. I think my favorite thing about this is the slight imperfections to her skin: moles here and there, faint wrinkles below her lovely eyes. The gold tone of her jewelry is quite realistic and simple. I appreciate that it accents, rather than detracts, from her lovely expression. Her hair is coiffed delicately. It makes me think that if she shook her head too quickly, it would all tumble down to rest on her shoulders. I almost want her to shake her head. My only concern is her lovely diadem. I am not sure where it attaches to her hair, as it doesn't seem to push back the sides and continue. Does it have combs at the ends so that it truly IS as it seems, or is that a detail that got overlooked? Either way, it doesn't distract me too much from the overall success.
